Is it maybe A-651-153-00-28 - Air intake temperature sensor?

Okay, I'm flipping around in WIS and EPC here and that is identified as B17/8. The wiring diagram appears to indicate that the wires should be BN/BU and GN/WH. The wiring diagram calls it the "Charge air temperature sensor". I am reasonably certain that #110 on the EPC diagram there is the correct sensor. I would go out and look on mine but I just dropped it off for the consent decree work yesterday.

Unfortunately, if there's a way to translate the electrical diagram reference to a part number I am not aware of it... But when I do a search for the part number I put out there earlier, the picture that comes up matches the picture of "B17/8" in WIS.

Oh, and it appears that there is also an o-ring that goes in there. I assume that the new sensor would come with one, but check to make sure.

Also... not to be too much of a worrier here, but where did the sensor go? Hopefully it went out as opposed to FOD-ing your engine... It's probably too late, but you might pop the boost pipe off the intake tube there and look for any evidence or chunks. Best case is that it broke off and shot out. Second best is that the sensor portion is still whole and jammed up in the butterfly valve.

Yes, rockauto part description says Air Intake / Charge Temperature Sensor.
your picture is showing exact placement where the hole is for sensor.
I put my pinky nothing there and removed the intake tube to check no debree. i think when a loud bang noise came it might be that sensor blown away.
thank you for the heads up for o ring, i will double check.
