08 gl320 cdi om642, upgrade to 2015 om642 turbo intakes injectors and rails
Hey everyone new to the forum, my 08 gl320 cdi has boost issues and after doing a pressure test for leaks, I found none. I have already replaced the turbo wastegate actuator i think my turbo is letting go. I found a complete 2015 om462 with a ceised block that has a good turbo, intakes, injectors, fuel rails high pressure pump. I noticed that the 2015 turbo has coolant line coming from the intake manifold so planning on swapping them out too, and the turbo is bigger. The injectors are identical but the fuel returns look upgraded so i will swap em out and and program the quantity codes also i will do the fuel rails and lines.I have to use my egr valve because of the harness connector but rest is same.
I can also swap the high pressure pump and i was gonna upgrade the left valve cover to the new style beacuse mine is leaking oil. Has anyone done this upgrade. I wil start on it monday hopefully will have everything done tuesday and start it with some luck
