The other possibility, looking at the other faults, is that you have generalized faults in the computer system. This could be water penetration damaging the front SAM (see last fault). Or it could be you have a marginal / dying battery &/or alternator (unlikely given 14.2V reading).

The half bar (that's 8 psi) pressure is reasonable with no valves open; the pressure in the line has simply bled down. If you were to watch that pressure with the pump turned on but no valves actuated, it would quickly rise to the maximum pressure the pump is capable of - like 20 bar. Needless to say, this is not an experiment you want to run for long!

This is still the best diagram on the intermat today of how Airmatic works. Read and heed!

Can the compressor be repaired ? I see some kits available that sell new cylinder, piston, valve and seals for under 100 USD.

Or just a couple hundred on an Amazon and call it a day. They are cheap enough to not have to rebuild them, and they are very easy to replace. My Amazon one has been working for over 4 yr now.

I have now purchased two from RMT...so easy. I will waste time on very stupid things...rebuilding the pump is not one of em.

I already ordered new pump , valve block and filter. I am wondering if a repair kit would revive that pump which I could convert into a mobile tire inflator

depends on the failure mode. I had one fell where the long bolts holding the cylinder sheared.

only a new bolt was needed there.

Not worth it, I rebuilt one a couple years back, by the time you pay $50-55 for the repair kit, wait for it to arrive, all the curses, swears and hurt knuckles... naah won`t do it again, like Sallad said my "original one" from eBay on its 3rd year now, it was $145. I honestly don`t know if its really OEM but all the labels and stickers are there but who cares, its going to 4th year now.
I saw in Amazon the other day, they range anywhere from $75-80 to 300 or 400. If a $75 one lasts a year, I`ll still call it a good deal.
