Setup jumper cables with second car (or any other 12v battery) using the connectors in the engine compartment. Then move the seat.

Don't get all worked up, here. We're just trying to help - but I suppose we could stop if that's the way you respond to people trying to help.

To be honest, your post was not clear. Reading your post, it comes across as you need to remove/move the seat so you can get at the battery underneath the seat to be able to jumpstart the engine. Hence the reason we suggested using the jump post under the hood.

To further answer your question, the electrical connectors for the track motor are under the seat.

clearly i come looking for help.
and yes everything is under the seat which must be moved.
with minimal access and visibility i can only ask the same question in a slightly different way.

what leads come from the front/back track motor into the underseat module?

Panties in a bunch much?

So.... allow me to rephrase:

You should be able to connect jumper cables attached to an external 12v battery source without having to start the vehicle. In case that statement is not clear: JUMPING THE VEHICLE IS NOT REQUIRED. Just attach the cables, then turn the key to position I (ACCESSORY), or II (ON) -- without starting the vehicle (position III).

This should provide sufficient voltage to POWER YOUR SEATS AND OTHER ELECTRONICS thereby allowing you to use the seat controls to then gain access to the battery compartment. If attaching an external 12v power source via the engine compartment connectors does not provide power to your vehicle, you have a more serious issue.

If the above does not make sense to you, you should probably not attempt to DIY.

Now, if you need the pinout diagram for ulterior purposes not specified, try here POWER SEATS – Mercedes-Benz ML350 2008 – SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS.

I suspect our ingrate friend is trying to activate the seat motors to get access to a fried front SAM.
