Code 0443 0447

Hi everyone,

I got following codes recently. Those are the only error codes I got.

Code 0443: Heating of component G3/4 (Right O2 sensor, before TWC[KAT]) : Open circuit (P0030)
Code 0447: Heating of component G3/3 (Left O2 sensor, before TWC [KAT]) : Open circuit (P0050)

After I searched google/forum, some people found a blown fuse and some found some corrosion to the fuse box/harness, etc. However, generally speaking, they saw more codes.

Anyone has any thoughts on how to further troubleshoot?
Cheers
Tom

I've checked fuse all good and connectors look good as well. Since codes are on left/right O2 sensors, I don't think they will be broken at the same time.

Now just one GL450 with EORP.
What driveability symptoms are you experiencing?

Drive it until the light goes out after three cold starts, and if the cel doesn’t go out then you have a persistent issue. This may be momentary due to atmospheric conditions or you drive through a puddle.

When the car starts, the MIL light on. Tried to clear the error code, yet within seconds when the car is on, it comes back again.

Today I noticed once when stop at red light, the idle is high around 800RPM. Yet it's not consistent, after drive a bit, idle comes back to 600 as normal.
