AC issue
Our 2011 GL450 AC blows cold...until it doesn't blow. The air at the vents feels cold, but it's not really blowing. If we stop for a few minutes and restart the vehicle, it is fine for another 30-60 minutes. Always happens when driving on the highway in ambient temps in excess of 80 degrees. Any ideas?

Do you have it set to MAX AC for too long?? (The button below the Rear Defrost button.) I had it on for too long in mine and after a while it stopped blowing air through the vents. I "deduced" that it was icing up inside and not allowing the air to flow. After I had it shut down for a bit, the ice, I assume, melted and allowed full airflow again.

Gauge set
Time to hang an AC gauge set on the system. Many Indy shops are very reasonable if you don’t have or want to invest in gauges.
