Yes, you can find the tires Mercedes likes at mbusatirecenter.com
Doesn't mean you have to buy them there.
Continental is the low price option for European tires, Michelin clearly the best. Pirelli also caters to MB.

So what tires did you settle on? I have a 2012 GL 450 I picked up on 8/20/2024 with a very decent set of Continental Cross Contact LX 25 on the rear. The front tires are something else and need replacing. My intention is for now to get 2 Cross Contact LX 25 for the front. To at least have all matching tires for now.

Hi, I wound up getting the Michelin cross contact SUV tires I have to say so far I really like them. They’re really great in the wet weather and also offer a very smooth ride.

I use Michelin defender LTX A/S, they are pretty good tires. listing price $273 each at Discount Tire. very often there is some discount/rebate of $80 per set.

Have been doing it for many years as the 63 rear tires wear quickly. As long as you don't have too much difference from side to side and one set is not bald, it should be fine.

My 2012 GL 450 when I picked it up has Continental Cross Contact LX 25 275/50 r20 on the back in good shape. I was going to replace the front to match them. My other option is the go with 285/50 r20 all around
