Fiber optic bypass loop
Hello
I'm having many electrical issues with my 2007 gl450. First I noticed no audio coming out of speakers then the SAT and disc changer disappeared off the command screen a day or two later. I have checked all the fuses I could think of and now I'm trying to find the correct optical loop to bypass each audio component to see if one is bad. I'm having a hard time finding the right size. I've ordered two that were supposed to fit but they were too small. Does anyone know which one will fit?

I think the right question ask first is why am I having electrical issues?
Are you having electrical issues with other components of the car?
This could be a command issue all of itself, or a broader issue related to signal acquisition modules not responding.
Why that could be his in most cases, water intrusion which the X164 is rather famous for.
In any case you’ll need a Mercedes scan tool to interrogate the command and other modules to figure out what is going on.

That's my bet is water has infiltrated under the driver's seat and soaked the amplifier. It's probably sloshing around under the passenger side floorboard too so your front SAM will fry soon. Check the back under the spare tire area as it's probably there as well.
