2011 Mercedes GL350 Bad EIS

I've been trying to troubleshoot what could possibly be a BAD EIS and would like any feedback. Typically, in the morning at first startup, I get a "Drive to workshop without changing gears" or SRS Restraint Sys Malfunction Service Required" message. I can "resolve" this problem by removing the 7.5 amp fuse that goes to the EIS for around 30 seconds and put it back in. Most times the vehicle will start and run fine for the day. There's been two times in the last two or three weeks where I had to do it twice, after the instrument cluster threw a fit of warning messages. It appears that the CAN bus goes inactive and is not able to wake up until the EIS is power-cycled. I tried disconnecting and measured the X30/19 connectors/CAN C bus. I received 120 ohms of resistance between the CAN H to CAN L. I also measured resistance of all nodes; most for 25K or 52K ohms, except two. The ESP measured opened (It appears the ESP nod isn't energized until the EIS or other component powers it on). The Oscope showed signs of life once the key was powered on. The Steering Column module measured 126 ohms between CAN H and CAN L. Here are all of the stored codes that collect over the past 24 hours. I just replaced the engine and had to replace the bad battery (the vehicle has been sitting for around 8 months was at 8.5 volts). It's possible that part of the wiring harness could have become damaged during the transfer, but I don't think it's that. There were no electrical problems that I'm aware of when it last ran during the summer, but now it's winter. Here are the codes from the scan, along with the rollup below it (Report also attached):

So when you changed the engine which ECM did you install?
CAN C is shutting down. Front SAM is not related to the rest of CAN C. I would check there. Under driver seat. Check for water pooling. All original CAN C immobilizer modules must be original to the vehicle to work. Engine, transmission, EIS, ISM, not sure if others are. But cluster, TPM no, SRS, maby.

I didn't replace any of the control modules, just the engine. I'm thinking that it may be an open or shorted connection with the transmission when it's cold. It runs perfectly fine when it's warm and no rain. When it's cold (below 40F), I often times need to reset the EIS, restart and it runs fine. If it rains, sometimes the front parking sensors go off when I'm driving down the road and the automatic wipers don't seem to have a coherent frequency. Sometimes the error doesn't happen until I'm driving down the road; the cluster will go whacky and the transmission doesn't shift smoothly. This is normally resolved by resetting the EIS. Some other codes that I've received when that happens can include the following (mainly as pending codes).

U0402 - Invalid Data Received From Transmission Control Module
U0002 - High Speed CAN Communication Bus Performance
U0037 - Vehicle Communication Bus B
U0146 - Lost Communication With Gateway "A"
U0416 - Invalid Data Received From Vehicle Dynamics Control Module
U0101 - Lost Communication with TCM
