Hi all I have a Gl 450 in the last few weeks on the dashboard. The compass has not been working and when I put the car in reverse the rearview camera does not work then I shut it off and then it’ll work is this have anything to do with the cold or could it be something else? Also when this happens I’m not able to change the radio station from my steering wheel Any ideas? thanks
Well, electrical goofiness is usually water related and when that freezes it could push connectors apart. Have you looked for ice in the trunk?
The compass readout in the dash display is just a repeater of the COMAND system screen where you can read out position, exact heading, number of GPS satellites, elevation and steering angle. If any of those inputs are intermittent or missing there, it could help narrow down which sensor or gateway is having issues.

I believe the command center is working. It’s just not the other function but when I put the car reverse the back up, camera does not work, but this doesn’t happen all the time.
