I hope they did for the comfort of you 350 guys...... run flats are a nice idea BUTTTT....they might as well be from a vehicle the Flintstones drove!!!! Had them on my 05 Vette and they rode like concrete!

Looking on a order sheet a dealer printed out for me they do reference a mini spare. I would still like to see it with my own eyes. Would be one more reason to trade in the ML...

The tank itself sits to the right of the hitch receiver just inside of the bumper. It is located where the right exhaust pipe and muffler were on the X164 hence the absence of exposed tailpipes.

It's a small change but definitely a selling point for me as well. Always get a bit nervous on trips far out of town with runflats, especially nights/weekends...

Same here. When we owned a GL350, I purchased one of those doughnut spare tires for road trips. Runflats are expensive and the ride was pretty harsh as I remember.
