Thanks for posting pics. Looks great! I like the white and auburn brown combination. Congrats!

Congrats man great looking car. I love the interior. Pretty sure I will go MBTex again with 2 kids but that leather looks great.
I see you are in MD, which dealer did you get it from? I know Euro Germantown 2 weeks ago had some 450/550s ready for delivery, though I am looking for a diesel..

Looks amazing. I ordered that exact color combo, white with auburn interior, but I opted for the textured satin ash wood. Nice to see some actual photos of this combo--kinda winged it. How does it drive? Does it drift and act jittery or "caffeinated" as MotorTrend said during its review? Enjoy, can't wait for the family hauler to arrive in about a month!

By the way, the 550 looks amazing in person. It looked so good I changed my order from a 450 and added the Auburn leather and Ash wood trim. It was an expensive visit!
Just bought my Wife one last week.
We will have our daughter in the third row, but the sunroof has NO protection. Not sure we or what MB was thinking.
Should I just Limo tint it? Not sure what to do.
The car is amazing, but that was a oddity and I need to try and remedy it.

I am kind of drawn on this option. I have it on our E350, looks cool but not all that functional and leave it covered often. Then again looking at the GL brochure the glass looks huge and more impressive somehow...also less area to clay, polish and wax
I think it drives great with great drivers response. I bought it from Chantilly VA Mercedes. The dealer was great to deal with there and a very nice dealership. I can not stop telling people how much I love this thing..

So have you made a decision about how to address the lack of a sun shade in the third row? I'm curious because I would otherwise order the pano roof but am having trouble thinking about the kids baking in the third row - which they will be in often. It really seems weak on MB's part to leave out the sun shade. Maybe a semi-permanent magnetic screen would work - but it would have to be cut to fit and you wouldn't want it falling out on them . . . This is a tricky one . . .
Kind regards

If it is indeed true that the 14 model year will have it- then it will be retrofitable. The ease of the retrofit, on the other hand, is a whole other can of worms.

Generally speaking, the retrofits are immensely expensive, and, the quality of the work can be questionable....... not something I would consider.
