good to know! will remember this for the future..
took the car this morning and they hooked it up and surprise surprise nothing was found! What I think happend is that the vehicle was sitting at the dealer for 2-3 weeks before I picked it up and when they were doing the pre-delivery inspection no one bothered to run the car or charge it... spoke to service manager as well and he did said he had NEVER seen something this before ... I think it was just the battery that was drained but its good to have them put in the file so if it happens again they will have some background info on it.
He said he would speak to the regional manager for a compensation package, and if I do not get it I will make sure MB head office and MB Germany hears from me.

Oh, and by the way: Dealer got two 350's in this morning. Checked them out, and both of them have the soft close doors 
. Unfortunately mine wasn't among them, but he figured its on the next delivery which could be any day now. For me it means waiting till end of March now as I will be out of country starting tomorrow.

Sorry, I missed your post. Hopefully that's the end of it. The post about the blind-spot sensors causing issues is something to watch out for as well.
