Picked up my 350 today

Dakota Brown, Auburn Brown Leather, Open Pore Ash

Looks fantastic. More of a high quality country look.

Quick likes
Lane departure amazing pulls you right back into lane
Engine Power - fantastic pull for this very heavy vehicle
Massage Feature - subtle but definitely makes a difference
Harmon Kardon - sounds great, good volume
Distronic Plus - will never get another car without it, great feature
Sport / Comfort mode - no sway issues at all when I tested sport, comfort is amazing in general (definite S Class caliber ride)
embrace apps....weak.
Sirius weather is pretty cool. Radar Maps

Just a fantastic vehicle - so much technology, so many features, fantastic power and pick up, exceptional gas mileage.

Looking forward to trying out the Active Park Assist.

Congrats! Looks like we agree on all points! Interested in your take on the parking assist .....I had to struggle to find a street with cars and little or no traffic so that I could try it out....... Not something to experiment with on a busy urban street! In the end I decided that the 360 camera makes ANY parking a snap.....that letting the system steer the vehicle is disconcerting if you have traffic waiting for you and I can do the job just as well and quicker , especially with the 360 cam.

Welcome aboard! Nice perspective. I agree I like the Sirius weather app. BTW, it still works without the expensive Mbrace option. Pull up the weather map, pick your destination, check the weather, forecast, etc. Nice.

Now I need to figure out racks and a cargo liner. For the cargo liner I'd like something that covers the leather armrests on each side. I can see my dog slobbering all over those things and cargo scratching them.

I haven't installed my canvasback liner yet, but it doesn't look like it will cover the leather armrests. Let us know if you find a solution.

Here's the link for what I bought:

Good info...... I was wondering if when I cancel the extra mbrace stuff, I would lose the weather thing.

Just tried Active Park Assist. Worked great - stellar park job. Looks like that will be another feature I use frequently.

Bluetooth streaming worked perfect. I played Pandora from my Blackberry. Sounded good. Really easy.

Auburn Leather. I ordered this without seeing it in person and was a bit concerned that it would look more dark rust colored than brown. Most digital pictures make it look that way. However, it looks like a very nice shade of dark brown. I'm really pleased with it.

Thank you for the recommendation. Would love to hear how you like it once installed. I'm leary of how secure it will be relying on essentially taping it to the carpet. Hopefully, more products will come out soon specifically for this vehicle.

Congrats! Sounds like a really nice build.

Please post some pictures of the interior and exterior when you have a chance. I would love to see that unique combo.

Kind regards

I too was interested in the Auburn....but "chickened out" and went with black......i think if i could have seen an example in person, i might have gone that route.

the reason that the Auburn/Tobacco brown look bad in pictures is because people take the picture with flash, if you turn off flash you will get a good idea of what it looks like.

Funny I almost did too. Then the wife convinced me to go for it. I feel lucky that it turned out ok...ha.
