Playing with Off Road Pack!

Not seriously off road, just experimenting with the various settings..... while driving along the highway I switched the dial to the "sport" setting.... instantly the revs moved a few hundred higher on the tach and the ride became more firm.......the program not only adjusts the suspension but adjusts the shift points and ( i think ) eliminates 7th gear all together. If one wants to.....using this program will make the vehicle "come alive!"

Snow program..... starts the vehicle out in 2nd gear and adopts a very slow response to pressing the accelerator. Since we now have snow on the road, I plan to see what it does to the operation of the electronic center diff....what Im guessing is that the programing will bring on a "lock" much sooner in the "snow" mode.

Next week.....heading to Vermont and will give the snow mode and, perhaps, off road 1 a bit of a test!

If you really want to hear the beast growl..... push the M button, put it in manual and do your own upshifting! Watch the gas mileage drop, however!

Really pleased so far!

Sounds like you're really enjoying your new GL. I'm jealous.
