Hardwire Radar Detector

I am curious if anyone has hardwired a radar detector in their GL? I was thinking about tapping into a fuse that is on when the key is activated to hardwire my V-1 but wanted to see if people had experience with this on GL.

I'd be interested also. There was a post very early on with an extensive install of a passport or bel.

Yeah...... and the jist of that discussion was be very careful as these cars are very "attentive" to what's going on with regard to the electrical system relative to power draw and the like. Its not the prettiest, but my Passport detector is simply mounted to the lowest part of windshield and then the cord runs neatly down the dash and plugs into the cig lighter socket. ( never use the lighter )
