Actually saw one in person today in Dallas at a golf tournament in the red color. It had Manufacturer plates on it. Looked nice and I really wish we could get the AMG sport in the US. I would order it in a heartbeat

Anybody looking for a new 2013 MB GL350 Bluetec with 67 km on the clock? Has Designo, B&O Sound, and AMG Sports Package, actually fully loaded, except for night vision. Might not be as rare as the GL63 AMG though

I would probably part with my GL350 for something in the 6 digits but much, much less than $166K and since it's in the US no worries about importing.

The eBay auction for the GL 63 incorrectly list the engine as a V8 6.3L

It should read: 5.5L AMG biturbo V-8

I'm new to MB but I'm guessing at one time all AMG 63 models did in fact come with a 6.3L V-8 engine.

You are correct. I am sad they got away from the nomenclature where the number corresponded to cc. I would be proud to have GL300/E300 badges on my car for the sake of logic...

the 6.3 was actually a 6.2 liter not 6.3... why? according to MB 63 sounds better than 63.... yes thats what they said.

and then anyone in the US would have to swap the speedometer to mph. lol. I had the same problem when I was in canada. Why can't MB do both.

Often wondered the same thing, though you can digitally. Perhaps its to discourage exporting?
