$2,500 - United incentive
I noticed that United Mileage Plus is offering manufacturer incentives on many MB models.
The 2013 GL was $2,500 off. May be a nice alternative for folk that don't get the USAA discount.
Also receive 25,000 mileage points.
The only 2014 models were E and CLS class. Maybe more will be added.

Good find. As you said for those without other discounts or who aren't good at negotiating. Also for dealers who don't want to budge off msrp. This they would have to honor.

The 2014 isn't published yet by MB. I'm assuming that's why these lists don't show 2014.
