When I got my boat new it had 30 hours on it. The dealer said that was all factory test time. I always wondered if someone went joy riding or if they used as demo before I picked it up
Wondering the same on my new GL that's supposed to arrive next week
How many test miles at the factory?

It's test + transport 8-16 miles for Vance in general.. but dealer adds a few more miles based on their test run plus fuel up etc..

Mine had 11. As far as I know no one else drove it before I did. My sales rep held onto the keys after it got PDI. It was in the delivery bay rather than the regular lot.

When I got my 09 GL there was Mercedes corporate worksheet with a test drive checklist in the car with a signature at the bottom. I think this is what Fabbrisd1 is referring to. You could have varying miles based on how long their test drive is.
Check your car over though when you get it. I had a dime size paint chip missing on one of the door handles and a body panel alignment issue that required warranty repair. I didn't notice either issue until the day after I purchased it when I hand washed the car. I paid for the new door handle and Mercedes had to pay for the body work.
