COMAND ONLINE
Hi guys. Newbie here and I need a little help. Does the COMAND ONLINE icon/app appear as a default setting or do I have to (re)-subscribe to mbrace2 to activate it? I cannot recall if I have had this icon before while I was on a free trial. I have attempted to activate it under Engineering Menu but still the icon won't show up. I have read some threads here concerning internet tethering procedures but without the COMAND ONLINE icon it's futile on my part.

Yes, mBrace premium is required for that app - forget about tethering to that 1.25G connnection.
If you want to tether then ask your dealer about AutoNet hotspot - 3G - you buy the unit and get 6 months free service like 5GB - most 4G cells still have better/faster tether connection.
