I'm waiting for 2014 GL 550
Trading in my 2008 GL 550
How much better can the ride be?

2015 Ram 2500, former 2013 GL350, 2007 GL450
Welcome to the group of former X164 and now X166 owners. I think you'll find the X166 to be quite superior to our X164. Not that the X164 was a bad machine, but I'm one that really thinks the new model has improved considerably.
