Should I pull the trigger?

Hello everyone. My family is considering the GL350 diesel for our growing family and our local dealer offered 5% off MSRP plus a $2000 Fleet discount. MSRP is about $77k. Should I push for a better deal than this? Does anyone know what invoice pricing is on these cars? Thanks.

I recently ordered my 2014 GL 350, MSRP was $ 73,490, I received $ 2000 AMA fleet discount plus $ 2500 negotiated discount. I was a previous buyer at this dealership and I felt that was the max discount for this vehicle.

I think that's about the best deal you will get on a 350. Good luck and let us know what you decide.

Thanks everyone. I put down my deposit. Interesting that the 350 is in such high demand. I hardly see any around. Must be a low supply issue. My wife loves the fuel savings with the diesel. She's upgrading from a Prius and vowed never to drive an SUV, but gave in. I preferred the Range Rover Sport, but the 350 is a good compromise. Now the wait...

bit off topic but I recently got a loaner GLK250 and today had the B250, I red-lined both vehicles for half a day....the B250 used up 25% of the gas in the tank and the GLK250 used up less than 10%, I will never go back to gasoline.

B250
Does anyone know what is the invoice price for B250?
The dealer offered me $3000 off for a used 2013 b250 with only 7, 000km and $2k option which is classified as manager lease return vehicle. Msrp is $27,900.

Is this a good deal?

Since you wanted the RR Sport look at the RaceChip option to give you a bit more go without sacrificing mpg for the wife -

The RR is always an appealing option....however....I don't think you will be disappointed in the 350, particularly in the "reliability" arena! History has shown the MB product to be higher on the scale in that department.

That's a excellent price! I wasn't in the market for the GL350 (excellent choice btw) but I asked what kind of a deals are available for them and every single dealer that I visited said "zero". They are in very high demand and you'd be lucky to see more than 2 on the lot around here. You are definitely better off ordering one and looks like you got a great deal.

I'm gonna to disagree with you on the 350 comment. Read the x164 forum. Lots of serious and costly issues with the diesel.
