Power Closing Doors/Soft Close Doors
Hi guys,
Was just checking out the specs of my GL63 and realised that here in the UK the Power Closing Doors (aka Soft Close Doors in the US) is actually an option for the GL63, yes we have higher price tags and less options as standard i.e. panoramic sunroof and power closing doors why is it so unfair lol. Anyway I happen to know that the US spec GL63 AND the GL550 has the power closing doors as standard and being a owner of a 2011 S63 I always love this function, I really wanna know if anyone knows it can be retrofitted? or did anyone with GL350's retrofitted this option? It'll be great if I can know what parts do I need for this retrofit, correct me if I'm wrong but it should be only the matter of the door locks right? Any inputs would be helpful!
