What's the average wait time now on a 2014 GL350 order? I put a deposit down last week Tuesday and the sales associate still hasn't given me a production or expected delivery date. Hate to keep bugging him, but is this normal? I've ordered cars with BMW before and I always got some information within a day or two.

My dealership had an allocation for a October build date (last 10 days/"decade" most likely). They told me I should have it around mid November. I ordered it on Saturday, and was able to add one more option yesterday before the configuration was "locked". Apparently I will get a notification coming up confirming that 10 day window, with a more specific delivery time further into the process. I hope I understood that correctly, anyway!

I didn't get crap. Dealer called me about 30 days before he told me to expect it and said it was sitting on his lot and come get it!

For the GL350BT - I would say "most" dealers have already "sold" their allocated production #'s thru end-November production.

In the case the dealer has no open.changeable/uncommitted orders - then that dealer will be waiting to see if/when they get a upside order opening.

You can choose to keep the faith - or choose to shop around - it's your choice.
