my14 gl350 squeaky doors?
it only has 450 miles on it, so i attribute it to growing pains... has anyone else had this issue? its rather annoying but seems like a pretty easy issue. maybe some lube on the weatherstripping around the doors?
Thanks!
dealer not sure what its from- thinks its not the doors; but not sure what- the weather strips and seals were re-lubricated; little better but still there- i gotta go back and find out what it is...

Second - if it is not a case of contaminated door seal - then the door needs to be realigned - I am spoiled since my team has direct access to a Mercedes Certified Collision Center - and 90%+ other MB dealers don't.
GL now has ~25,000 miles on it and the doors STILL squeak. Its been in the shop at least a dozen times and had all seals replaced. for a day or two after the work is performed its quiet but the squeaks come back.
Twice they've given me a GL loaner and they are both as silent as a vault.
So frustrating. Other than the squeaky doors, i LOVE tit.
Anyone have anything to add before I get rid of it?
It hasn't been squeaking since! Give it a shot - it's worth a try.
Most of the noise are when the chassis flexes.
Felt tape the rubber that the door panel sit on. Remove door panel and the wood trim door handle and felt tape all contact point.
If you have sunshade, it's also part of the problem. Felt tape the plastic to rubber contact.
Felt tape the underneath of the plastic that run around the window.
Buy the Honda ept felt tape (3t) they are $30-40 for 4 foot worth. I used about four foot per door.

Those hard to fix issue I also felt tape all the wiring and screw holes so simply screw it right through and also felt all metal clips.
Like I've said, the noise resonate so it may be something a foot away.
I used 100 foot of felt for the entire interior.. If people thought their GL was quiet, 100 foot of felt make wonder, hear nothing but tire and engine now, even through San Francisco roads. No more ticks from plastic due to changes in temperature as well.

Man, your GL63 must be as quiet as a Rolls Royce inside!
