Intake Restrictor Removal
Anyone care to help with this one?
Attached are the pics of the inside of the air boxes.
You can see the plate with the holes that attaches to one side where the filter rests on top.
I removed them and left the stock filters. Figured I would get some additional air flow. I can't say I notice too much difference but what I can say is the "turbo whistle" has all but disappeared.
I'm wondering if they "spin" the air and make it cleaner more than restricting it?
Any thoughts on this on whether to keep them in or just leave them out altogether? Maybe put some high performance filters in place and put these back in?
