What do you need advice on? The price is MSRP it looks like?

I would watch out for the Easy Entry if you are going to have child seats is the only thing that stands out. Also is the Parktronic just Parktronic or does it have the 360 cameras?

I haven't shopped 2014s so I am sure the others can add more...

What is the msrp on that, about $74k? Sounds like a good deal. Go for it!

Seems like a decent deal.

In my opinion though, the Lighting Package and Parktronic w/ 360 camera packages are extremely handy to have.

According to the dealer, the MSRP for this config is $73,890..

I wanted feedback on the price and if I missed anything essential in this config.

Will find out about 360 cameras..

I will have a child seat.. Does the easy entry activate (and potentially cause harm) if there is something on the seat? or do you mean its not worth having easy entry if I have child seats?

Thanks!

Package 235 is for Parktronic with Active Parking Assist only. In order to the get the 360 camera, the package is 996. The price difference is only a few hundred dollars. Otherwise, the surround camera is not available as a standalone option.

Read this thread, there are some issues with some child seats fitting, and some issues with shorter people being uncomfortable. There is a remedy, but seems to be a little dealer dependent.

Good luck with your decision!

OK sorry it looks like I am out of touch on pricing! Seems like a good deal now that you mention MSRP.

If you just have 1 child seat you may be OK, the issue with the easy entry is fitting in the large convertible carseats when forward faced on either the left or right middle rows since the headrest cant be removed. It fits just a bit arkward. Search a few threads down on "removing 2nd row headrests" and you will see a long discussion, there are work a rounds you can ask the dealer to do at delivery (they may not be willing).

There is also an issue of comfort and maybe safety for older kids, but if you don't keep it that long it won't be an issue.

Don't purchase without the lighting package. I did and I still am regretting it.

I am also a strong advocate for the lighting package. Once you have it you'll never go back to the standard lighting.

If your driving is mostly urban, with well lit highways and streets, it probably isn't a big deal. If you drive on rural roads in the dark, it's essential. I turned down a great deal on a new GL in 2011 because I just couldn't live without the lighting package. They gave it to me for a few days to try.

+1..

I don't have lighting package on my E class. It's a huge difference between regular and HID lights on my GL.

PLUS the lighting package just looks cooler you get the amber eyebrows which light up at night (which are also the amber turn signals). they are becoming MB's recognizable look, just like you can always see an Audi's LEDs coming from afar.

Thanks everyone. Lighting package is something I overlooked, so I added that one. Dealer said he will need to find a vehicle in stock with that package, in order to be able to give me the same deal.. so fingers crossed!

Also added package 960 for 360 degree cameras.
