2014 GL450 Blind Spot Assist
I would like to get your real world experience. Do you get your triangles yellow first and then red, or instantly red. Again all of this is when you drive above 20 mph. I understand that below 20 mph the BSA is off and triangles are yellow.
Thanks a lot!

Yellow is below the speed of 19mph (30km per hr) to remind you that it's not looking for cars in your blind spot. This is to prevent constant warnings in traffic or parking lot situations.
Your second paragraph describes the correct behavior of those indicators. When driving at more than 19mph, and no car is in your blind spot, the triangle is clear (not lit). It will only light up red when someone enters your blind spot. It should not turn yellow again until you get below 19mph.
Enjoy! I love the blind spot assist!

When I push the start button to start up the engine, the triangles on both sides turn red first for a couple of seconds and then they turn yellow. All of this on my driveway when the car is not motion. Is this your experience as well? Thanks again guys!
