Just traded in my 2009 GL320 for a 2014 GL350. Lost a bunch of useless features on the way, and was able to pare the car down to what I considered essentials.
Dealership was about 75 miles from home, so got to enjoy the new ride all the way back. Seems to definitely drive much smoother, although, my first reaction was that it had lost a lot of the road feel of the X164.
Anyway, just wanted to drop in and say hi.

Thanks Jim. Mine is essentially basic. I have Black/Black MB Tex. I had the same combination on the 2009. However, I shed the RSE (kids only use ipads and phones now) and although I wanted it, I didn't get the trailer hitch this time (wasn't on the car and I had never used the one I had before).
I would have preferred the 3rd row climate, but again, summers here in the Bay are have been so mild that I hadn't had much use for that either.
Main reason for my upgrade was that I was out of warranty, near 65K miles and didn't want another Tire and Suspension build. I was able to get mine at invoice, which also helped.
