You can notice the difference between 21" and 22".
Don't get me wrong as many have had zero issues like you with replicas, but there are also a lot of people who have had issues with replicas. Some go through quality checks with even TUV and ISO certifications/stampings.
One set of replicas I purchased didn't have the correct load rating for a GL (only for a ML) so ended up returning them.
I'm going to have to paint my wheels gloss black now after looking at your ride!

heres my GL63
22x10 from my former G wagon with wheel adapter conversion of 5x130 to 5x112
ET20 all around 305/40/22. Rubs in the back wheel housimg splash shield / guard on full turn lock.
it could be the tires and offset combo that can possibly cause this; wheels are wrapped in Yokohama Parada spec X their quite meaty tires, otherwise, with the wheel pushed out flushed with fender flares still should rub, but it does. Doesn’t bother me at all and gives the truck a meaty stance

trying to put GLE 22 inch wheels on my GL550 anyone have info or know if they fit?
Would you consider using silver lug nuts? They are aluminum as you know on the OEMs and I have grown to like how they pull in the outer aluminum strip.
Great setup!

Btw... I notice very little difference except for firmness between the OEM winter 21 setup and my summer 22s.

I will tell you that it is hard getting 305/35/22 sized tires from Pirelli..
You might consider using the tire sizes from the GLE coupe =285/40R22 front and 325/35R22 at the rear.... but you might have to check the offsets.
also.. I don't think that the fatter tires look as good as my 35s (probably better for potholes though....)
V167 GLE580: https://www.wheel-size.com/size/merc...e-580-eudm-483
V167 GLE53: https://www.wheel-size.com/size/merc...lass-amg/2020/
They may or may not fit without spacers, difficult to say without trying. However, bolts (15x1.25) from V167 do not fit X166 GL/GLS (must use GL's 14x1.5 bolts).
So you are running 305/40/22s? that is what had been recommended to me from a wheel/tire dealer in Miami.. I just felt the 40 looked a bit tall (sitting in the showroom.. not on the car... I might change my mind when I see it on the car) As long as the tires roll at the same revolutions.. everything will work fine.
I am now seeing the 305/35/22 on the Pirelli website and hoping that it is available (I always have a spare tire incase I blow one out as I did once hitting a metal curb)
MB will always go with a 40 sized tire for the GL....
as for tire wear.. remember.. the zero is a summer high performance tire and 8-12K is what you should expect for a set of rear tires (and since you can't rotate any of these combos.. it is what it is. I get 1 set of fronts for every 2 sets of rears in the wear aspect of things. I don't feel it that bad as I run my OEM 21s with winter scorpions in the off season (45 degrees and below)

will this fit ? I am trying to fit a 2017 GLE 22 inch wheels on my 2014 GL550. The offsets on 22x10s et 57 fronts and 22x11 with et40 in rears. I believe the lug nuts, bolt pattern and everything else matches.
The rear will poke by about 10mm, which is not a huge issue, but IMO it will require even larger front spacers (at least 20mm) to even out front to rear look (so they both would poke about the same).
