Parking Brake Not Working

I don't think my parking brake is working anymore on 2014 GL450, when it was pushed before, a red light would go on the dash, it doesn't do that anymore? Anyone else have this?

Well, it's the parking brake system or the just the light. So, hop in the car and don't start it or even touch the start button. Press the parking brake button. You should hear the brake actuate and the light should come on. If you hear the brake, then it's the light. If you don't hear anything it then it's one of may things. But, regardless of what you hear or not, it needs to be serviced. To release the brake the ignition needs to be on and you pull back on the switch. In either case you don't need the engine running. Good luck.

Thanks, it's definitely a problem with the system not just the light. I guess we'll take it in.
