Usability / Pricing Question

Hey everyone, looking for a larger SUV for the family. Currently drive an X5 with the third row option and are looking for a vehicle with a truly usable third row. Does anyone have experience moving from an X5 to the GL? Thoughts?

Also, looking at a 2014 GL450 - most dealers I have talked with say the vehicle is very constrained and therefore no significant discounts? Is that really the experience of folks who have purchased in the last 60 days?

Lastly, the residuals this month on a lease are very good (62%), should I expect them to be even better with the 2015 model year release?

Thanks in advance for all your help - be nice to the BMW guy .

B.

2014 GL450
Before I got my GL I tried just about every SUV with a 3rd row option and I personally believe that the GL 3rd row is one of the best out there. There is a lot of space and even a 6'2" guy like me doesnt mind being back there. Plus there is still a decent amount of trunk space when the 3rd row is up

Depends on where you live. In NJ/NY, the GL sells very quick at MSRP so not many are willing to discount it.

We have 3 kids, so looked at all 3 row suvs. Now that GM suvs have fold down 3rd row, I would look at those.

Personally I am excited for the BMW X7 to come out in 2 years. I prefer BMW to MB.
