Am I getting a good deal?
The dealer is offering $889/month for $12K miles.
Car has:
Palladium grey
101 MB Tex (black)
P01
235 Parktronic
289 Wood steering wheel
322 Appearance package
413 Pano sunroof
734 Eucalyptus Trim
810 H-K system with subwoofer
843 Power easy/Entry
864 Rear entertainment system
993 Blind spot assist
Definitely missing the keyless go and Xenon headlights (can't believe this isn't standard yet), but I realize there's limited selection.
MSRP: $77,940. 62% residual. I think he said that he was giving it at about $72K, which includes an AMA discount.
Is this a good deal? Anything else I can try to negotiate (price?, service? etc???)
Any information would be helpful.
New model years are introduced for Fall/Sept delivery let's say ... so 2/3 yrs from now you will be leasing "tailend" again.. when do you expect to catch up with new/new - which frankly is the advantage of a new/new MY lease ?
Is it the 5-6-7 weeks you can't wait to get a new car - or is it a few $$ ?

So, I was wrong about taxes being included. It was pretax. I still got it as my wife really liked it. I did the single payment to drop the payments down to $804.
I appreciate everyone's help.
I look forward with interacting I with all of you as I get to know my car better.

Can you please provide details of the lease: MSRP, capitalized cost MF, residual, tax percent. Thanks!

Net capital cost was about $72.5, which includes a $2K AMA discount.
Money factor was 1.7
Residual value was 62%
Buy out price is $48K
Doing a single pay lease dropped the money factor to 1, and my lease payment went to $804.
I had to pay 8.875% sales tax. Plus, I bought the tire package and the prepaid maintenance, which raised the price.
Definitely love the car. I am annoyed about he lack of keyless go and xenon lights. It's bothering me a lot more than I realized. After 5 years of walking up to my Lexus without having to find a key, I do feel like I'm "roughing it" a bit. The lighting is a little annoying, but I think I'll be fine with that. The sales guy said xenon lights were outdated tech as everyone is moving to LED. I quickly pointed out to him that means I am getting tech that is 2 generations old. Even my 15 year old Acura had that as standard equipment.
Overall though, my wife loves the panoramic sunroof and the rear entertainment system was a bonus. It's definitely an incredible car -far better than anything else I've ever owned.
I agree with you on Keyless Go spoiling one. But you got an outstanding deal on a great car. Congrats again and enjoy in good health!!!
