2023 EQB 350 & 2014 GL350
Take a look at photos of the Designo interior as it includes the stitching on the lower dash and door panels.

The "difference" is a visual "value" over $1500 - for $300 and change - the plastic lower dash and the upper door panels incl armrests are "wrapped" with MB Tex with contrast "stiching" similar to the seats - much more sophsticated look...
Once you have it... you will never buy another MB SUV without that build option.
On the heated washer reservoir.. for $100 and change... on the road regardless of outside weather windshield cleans MUCH nicer with heated water... would you run a dishwasher with only cold water ?
SPC options have a $250 set admin fee on top of options cost... whether one or five... so get too and average the admin cost in your head..
Keep the beat !

Thank you all for your help. Yesterday placed my order. The car should be at the dealership by the end of October. They said I was lucky they had a spot for my order. Their limit is 3 cars till the end of this year (if it's possible to trust what they say).

2015 GL350 Order
I placed an order for a 2015 GL350 on July 3 and the dealer has told me the truck is scheduled to be built the second to third week in October and will not be delivered till late November. Does this sound normal? He just provided me with a Purchase Order Number today after I started questioning him and he was very hesitant.

That sounds like your GL will go into production between the 11th and 31st of October. My dealer used the term "weeks" too but I think he was referring to "decade" or ten day period. I picked mine up 8 days after it actually went into production. Your dealer will eventually be able to tell you the exact production date. Time between production and delivery all depends on how far you are located from the factory. If it is produced the last few days of October, it could easily take 2-3 weeks to get to the west coast for example. He is probably (just a guess) giving you worst case scenario.

Sounds like "first salesman" just has more allocations or less demand for the 350 at his dealership. His timetable is similar to the '14 450 I ordered.
