With the 3.0 V6 TT in the GL450, power is at 362 HP and 369 lb-ft. The pricing difference in Canada is minimal.

Which car would be superior in terms of driving feel and fuel economy? Would the new gasoline engine have the economy comparable to the bluetec and would the peak power available at a lower rpm in the bluetec be more practical in city and day to day driving?

One thing that's superior in my opinion is the visible exhaust pipes on the 450 with the amg pack. The amg pack is also available on the 350 albeit without visible exhaust.

What are your takes on the 350 vs 450?

order the 350 - i had the same questions in that thread jim mentions - long and short i ordered the 350 after driving both - it was no comparison
