Bluetooth Phone Quality Issues
Just received our ordered 450 and love it. However I noticed something strange today. When I called my wife in the car it sounded as if she had the window open and the speaker was picking up wind and/or road noise. Almost sounded as if she was riding the bumps. She said it was perfectly quiet in the cabin. I could hear the noise dissipate some when she came to a light, but still a sound of wind or road noise the whole time I was talking to her. Also had her turn the air off to make sure a vent wasn't causing this. Anyone else had or heard of a similar problem? Thanks!

Hmmm....was this just a single phone call or has this happened more than once or with different phones?
(I'm wondering if this was perhaps a cell issue rather than a MB or Bluetooth issue as we have never experienced this with our GL.)

Yep, made the call a few different times from a land line and my cell and still had a lot of noise. It wasn't to the point that we couldn't talk, but I reference the sound to that of a baby ultrasound in the background.

Have a 13 GL450....have found the quality of the phone and the Mbrace audio interface to be "poor".....my 14 Ford Fusion sounds MUCH better

Ha. We have the same cars. I have 13 GL450 and a 14 Fusion Energi. I agree, the Fusion Bluetooth interface is better, but the GL doesn't sound bad at all.
