Question on new set of tires for GL350
Hi everyone,
I am looking into getting new sets of tires for my 2014 GL350. I currently have the Contis 275/55R19 with a load rating of 111 on them. I wasn't too please on how the car handles in snow with these tires. I was looking at non-OEM all season tires. Has anyone placed either 255/55R19 with load rating of 111 or 255/60R19 with load rating of 109 on their vehicle?
As always I appreciate your thoughts/experience.

Have New "take-off 18" MB wheels FOR SALE. Would be very good for a WINTER wheels.

I must say I've been very pleased with the 19" rims and stock Conti's in snow here in MN. I was fearful that we might want snow tires but that hasn't been the case. (Yet.) Granted, we typically have "drier" snow than the east coast and much less ice/sleet/mixed precipitation on the leading edge of our storms that ends up mixed with (and under) the snow.
IMHO, if you don't like the Conti's in snow get a set of dedicated snow tires to use during the winter and not just another set of all seasons or I suspect you'll be just as unhappy. The stock Conti's are labeled M+S, FWIW.

Thank you everyone for their posts. I will look into the tires that are mentioned in the above posts as well as dedicated snow tires. Thanks again! These forums are definitely informative.
