I'm out of options - after a second request to the dealer to re-test road force (wanting them to match closer to the front measuring at 6 lbs.) for the rears, the latest measurements came back even higher then the previous (2 weeks ago). 12 lbs vs 6 lbs.

SA is doing whatever he can but service is refusing to unmount and re-mount the rear tires as they state anything under 40 lbs is acceptable.

Now I'm thinking to just save this set for when I sell the vehicle. I'm looking at the Michelin Premiere LTX, hoping they are better.

Anyone else go with this option? The Verde are good tires but not sure these new sets are causing me so much vibrations.

Apparently Pirelli came out with a 'plus' model to the Scorpion but not yet available in the 20" sizing. After multiple tries rotating to achieve road force numbers even remotely close I gave up on mine..luckily within the required 9/32 in order for Tire Rack to refund on them. Running the new Premier now and VERY happy.

I'm the Original Poster- I got a set of the Mercedes approved Conti UHP summer tires 275/20. They're great. Smooth and quiet and no vibrations (from the tires).

The pirellis are cheaper and this seems to be a case of you get what you pay for.

I recommend the Contis, but I will be trying the new Michelins next time around as they have had excellent feedback from people, and are a tad less $ with longer treadlife.
