The only way to drive this vehicle in any serious snow is with SNOW/ICE tires. I use Nokian tires and it makes a huge difference. The tires that come with the GL are just fine for warm weather driving, but I would never use them for the winter. I run mine with 19" wheels and Nokians with plenty of tread. The cost is well worth the stability and reduced chance of a mishap! With no snow to speak of at this point in Eastern MA, I don't have a picture. :-(

I rarely drive our GLBT so I never see it outside, but this is what it looks like 6 months a year. Brutal. It gets details and waxes 3-4 times a year.

Here's mine in Colorado in January. I agree that the tires leave a lot to be desired in the snow. Mine are the Pirellis. Last time I was in a lot of snow I was in a 4x4 Suburban with Bridgestone Duelers and they stuck like glue.
