intermittent interior cabin lights /auto window close failure

intermittent interior cabin lights /auto window close failure
I'm having issues intermittently where the interior lights don't come on from door to door or even tail lid...
example: will load a kid from the rear right passenger door and none of the interior lights come on until I open one of the other doors.. it has happened with the tail lid too. (randomly moving around to each door)
anyone else see this?
Also, the driver side window won't go back up on a single click of the switch (I must hold it all the way up.. and re-engage the switch as it drops a 1/4 inch after going to the top.)

Can't speak to the door light.
The window issue was common in the w212 E-class thread. IIRC, the window is traveling too far up, triggering the reverse safety mechanism so it doesn't crush a finger or something. There is a procedure in the manual for resetting it. It's easy, but I don't remember it. Something like holding the up button for a few seconds. But I might be wrong.

now back to the intermittent lights..... will update when I know more.
