Turn signal stopped working after few hours driving

Hello,

After driving for few hours I get a message "active blind spot assist inoperative" and yellow lights comes up in the side mirrors. Same time the turn signals stopped working. However active cruise control was working. It will get resolved after a re-start.

Once it happened when I drove from Vancouver BC to Oregon and it was pouring rain. I had to pull over and re-start 3-4 times. Yesterday also same happened but there was no rain.

Has any one experience the same and what was the issue ?

Thank for your help in advance

As you know those systems are very complicated and interconnected--and folks don't like to hear this but you will be best served when you find an indy with factory or equal diagnostics to locate the fault!!

If you still have warranty - just drive to your dealer.

I would get the message "active blind spot assist inoperative" as well as "PRE-SAFE Brake is temporarily inoperative" with the yellow lights comes up in the side mirrors. I noticed I usually get those messages when there snowing or raining heavy regardless of restarting my car. My turn signals always worked though when I have gotten those messages. After the heavy rain/snow, the active blind spot/pre-safe brake would work normally.

I guess these sensors are very sensitive.

I have, it was the battery that was going bad. Voltage was too low to maintain all the electronics draw and car had to sequentially shutdown parts in order of significance to driving and safety.

The issue was fixed by the dealership. Due to poor reverse light issue, I was using a hitch light with a wireless remote. Some how this has mess up my signals. They reset the system and it started working again and I have removed the hitch light too. Now turn signals works fine.
