Curious. Is it a brand new off the assembly line no miles new engine, or a remanufactured one? Thanks.

That's interesting. On the invoice picture that you posted, one line said, "REMAN DIESEL E...." I was assuming that the line refers to a re-manufactured engine.

Shop foreman stated 'brand new engine' I guess that has several meanings. Looking at engine all components appear to brand new and certainly look new. Maybe block is remanufactured and all other components new? When I saw dealer pricing on paperwork they were at 39k total job w/Engine at 33k. Either way I came out ahead w/a GL at 78,5k miles and a new engine that runs 100% better than previous with a 48mo/50k mile warranty however that warranty will be superseded by my extended warranty with the miles I drive. I will see where I am at when my extended warranty is at experation and go from there. Thanks for pointing this out.
