Coolant Leak
Got into the truck this afternoon and had a "check coolant" message
. Thought it was odd as we just purchased the 2014 CPO GL 450 which was serviced for the 30,000 mile service early ( truck has 29,500 miles). Did some research and people said it was common that the sensor was pretty sensitive. Well the misses leaves to go out with her friends, and I go into the garage and notice that there coolant all over the ground
. Of course I told her to come home and when I lifted the hood it was squirting out of some canister, and there was little to no coolant left. Waiting on tow service now!!!!Ill keep everyone posted on the problem

I haven't picked the vehicle up do to them replacing the driver side seat back cargo pocket which was ripped (covered under warranty).
cause: left turbo coolant return pipe failed.
it is very surprising, from no indication to a total failure. I work on my w163 and other cars and usually when coolant leak I will have some sort of minor leak which I can tell before it fail.
took it to service and they said the same thing -- turbo pipe. i only have 26,000 on the odo and the car is 51 months old. they are covering under goodwill, otherwise it's $950. seems like a pretty common problem on the GL based on this thread.
