Pre-Paid maintenance, worth it on CPO?
2013 GL550 with 21k miles, CPO. Is pre-paid maintenance worth the price? I'm talking to Jeff Jackson, so price is about as good as it gets. Let's assume dealer service for oil changes, major service intervals, etc.

Please understand - unused Prepaid Maintenance in not refundable/transferable.
Prepaid Maintenance "must" be used before next 12,500 miles or before 14th month - whichever comes 1st.
Between now (21K where 20K "should" have been done) 30K (a) + 40K (b+) + 50K (a) are fairly straightforward .
You can download Maintenance Schedule for all 2013 models on mbusa.com under Owner's Section.
"Walk-In-Service" prices for ea service varies a LOT from area-to-area and between different dealers.
What you might save - may be best determined by checking a la carte service prices with the dealer where you intend to service.
If you travel - Prepaid maintenance also gives you cost protection - meaning if you are traveling to Florida from Mississippi you won't get gouged with FL service prices.

Yes, I bought mine for my GL63 - you get a discount on the service and a discount for not paying taxes. The pre-paid doesn't charge you taxes. If you went in for service, you get charged taxes.
I also had a major service done under the pre-paid so I came out ahead even more.
