No, but LEDs are very small and do not interfere with driving.

Pretty much. If you can hard wire a radar detector, then you should be able to install it fairly easily.

Hi when you say it wont work in 2013 because the cover is different do you mean X166 in 2013 or the old X164? Not sure when the 166 came out in the US but it was early 13 in the UK and Im unsure if this would work for me or not, I have GL63 AMG X166.
