Upgrade to Android Auto?
Is there a way to add android auto to a car? We have a 2004 E320 4matic wagon and a 2012 Gl 450 4matic. Esp on the Gl 450, we'd love to add android auto to it. We both have Samsung phones. Is this possible?

I actually have a pieced together kit for NTG 4.5 cars to add a touch screen overlay and an Android computer.
However, I never got around to installing it because I ended up using a Raspberry Pi to run many of the functions I would've used an Android computer for...

On short form - No
There are select installers that in theory convert your 2012 to a "mirror system" which will show your Android phone screen on the main display and you use handset to navigate thru function - but that is a rare and expensive bird.
For iPhone or Android integration - you are best considering a newer model Mercedes that has that new feature.
