Low Pitch Humming-loud vibration during U turns
Hi guy, this is my first post so I apologize in advance if I unintentionally break any forum rules or etiquettes. I purchased a 2014 gl-450 from a dodge dealer 3 weeks ago. After taking the car home- I found some low frequency humm or like a really lous low pitch vibration when I turn completely left or righ. The sound is only there when i am at a complete stop- turn the wheel- and accelerate. So if I am at a stop sign and I make a right or if I am at a stop and making a U turn the sound is noticable. I took the car to the MB dealer- they didn't pay much attention. I took it to my trysted family mechanic and he said the "transfer case" needed to be changed. Then I took it to dodge - since I have a 90 day warranty. They said there was a leak from the transmission on the transfer key which they fixed and they also replaced the front and rear right axle. I picked up the car yesterday- and I am still hearing that low rumble noice when i turn the wheel full. I have about 2 months left on the warranty and would like to figure out what it is and get it fixed in time. Can anyone suggest anything. Thanks in advance.

I honestly don't think you have anything to worry about. Mine also has a low pitch rumble I think the noise is really a combination of things when you're turning at full lock. The tires making a little noise as a wheel might be dragged slightly. Since it's AWD, all wheels are connected, moving at slightly different speeds and making the differentials really work. You should make sure the entire drive train has a good bill of health, but I don't think it'll change the noise.
