iPhone 7+ (iOS 11.0.3) Hijacking Audio System?
Am I missing something here? Is there a configuration setting that will prevent this from happening intermittently?
I unlock and start my '15 GL450 and begin driving.
Within a minute or two, the radio or other audio source which WAS playing is muted.
Turning the phone's Bluetooth off and back on results in the audio to be unmuted for a minute or so, but the phone "takes over" again, presumably once Bluetooth is re-connected to the car.
Restarting the phone does solve the problem for a while-- it could be several subsequent trips with the same car and phone before it happens again, but eventually it does.
Any thoughts?

Did it do it pre 11.0.03??
I haven't updated by 6+ or my gf 7+ to 11.0.3 but both on 11.0 and yes it will pick up the phone after a minute or so but once switching to FM or what have you it doesn't switch back.
Typical operation from what I recall:
FM car turned off, start again still on FM
Bluetooth car turned off, start again will connect to last bluetooth device
- Subsequently if disconnect from bluetooth to FM and will stay on FM

I am getting the same kind of issue only after updating the the latest IOS software on my iPhone 7plus. Bluetooth streaming of music is intermittent. It will play songs, but will cut in and out. I power the phone off and on, no improvement. I power the car off and on, no improvement.

Aftert downloading/installing new OS - best to (1) DELETE old iPhone profile from COMAND -(2) then reboot COMAND - power off/on (3) DELETE old Mercedes profile from iPhone (4) reboot iPhone - power off/on - (5) then start with new Bluetooth sync
I am not saying this will fix your problem - but with IOS change - delete OLD Comand/iPhone profiles - and gives you fresh start.

Thanks!
Thank you.
With the frequency of iOS updates I hope to not have to do that each time, hopefully that will solve the issue.
