New GLS63 AMG Break-In Question

I just upgraded the wife's 2015 GL450 to a 2018 GLS63 AMG. (Okay, the AMG was really for me...she would have been happy with a 550 lol). Anyway, she peeled off the sticker on the window that had the engine break-in details and threw it away. What is recommended for the break-in? Taking it easy for first 500 miles? 1000? I left a message with my sales guy, but he isn't in yet and thought everyone here would have "real world" recommendations anyway.

Also, do you know how long it takes for the car to show up in the Mercedes Me app? I added it to my account last night, but it said it is "verifying" and may take up to 30 days.

Thanks for your help!!

Well you got the reason to say wify because you threw off the sticker the car is mine as it had break-in instructions

Anyways it is usually 1000 miles not doing harsh acceleration\pedal to floor thing or going over 80-90MPH but I never went above 75-80MPH for first 1000 miles. And changed oil at 1100 miles on my GL 550. Just baby it and drive like GrandPa for 1000 miles.

Also a big no-go to those Test riders because they are the one main A-holes who screws up the breakin period.

AMG break-in period rules for first 1,000 miles: <85 MPH, vary speed, no full throttle, <4,500 RPM, no engine braking.

Don't use too much power before the engine oil temperature gets to temperature.

I would say that should be done all the time no matter is engine broken in or not.
