Just bought a new set on April 13 from MB dealer who installed, balanced, and 4 wheel alignment as well. Got Pirelli PZero 295/40 R 21 111V XL S-ZERO (MO).
(Mercedes original). Just under $2500 cdn. plus $269 labor for wheel align. Love the tread design, which is what i had before. Vehicle has 65,000 kms. Probably on its third set (second owner). I have a nasty habit of buying only Michelin, Continental, or (now) Pirelli, because that's what Benz decided.... Sorry if this doesn't help.

DWS06 is great to go with. But 1 thing they are slightly noisy at 58MPH to 62MPH not sure why but I ignore it else these are great tires with that much tread wear. I would re-buy them.
Also there is a new tire with similar warranty called Pirelli Scorpion Zero A\S plus. It was on my friends GL550 and I drove his GL with it and tires were quiet but Pirelli are notorious for getting cupped tires so I just passed and went with Conti's.

Discount Tire Period if they are in your States and they are very good with honoring the warranty. You can just ask them to cut the crap of Tire Warranty Certificate that should save $150 approx. And hey always ask them to discount the tire more they usually do even saving $30-50 bucks on all 4 tires is not bad.

I bought 21"s about 3 months ago from Costco for my BMW. I just went to Costco's site for tires. It has changed significantly, it now allows a person to set an appointment (that is new) and looks like the only carry BFGoodrich, Bridgestone and Michelin now...no Conti's, no Pirelli's. That is disappointing...looks like Sam's Club now on for me!
